Agro-textile (PP):
Allows rain and air to pass through, retains heat at night (2–4°C difference).
Applications:
- Covering seedlings after transplanting — eliminates risk of May frosts
- Protecting brassicas from butterflies
- Overwintering perennial plants
Weight:
- 17–19 g/m² — down to -2°C, plenty of light
- 30–50 g/m² — down to -6°C, less light
- 70–100 g/m² — overwintering
Foil tunnel:
8–12°C warmer inside. Requires ventilation on sunny days. - Early sowing from February/March
- Tomatoes without blight (dry environment)
Simple tunnel with wire hoops + foil costs 50–100 zł.
